Strawberry Milkshake |
Strawberry is the fruit of the season. So as i was seeing strawberries all around the first thought that came to my mind was strawberry milkshake. During this season i usually get them and you will find strawberry milkshake at my place all the time .
Strawberries are a great option as they are rich in vitamins and minerals, low in calories, and widely available during this season.
They are full of antioxidants. Strawberries are perfect for curbing cardiovascular disease, cancer, and delaying ageing. In fact, studies suggest that the high antioxidant levels in strawberries can help neutralise the negative effects of free radicals in your system. Antioxidants are also known to boost the immune system and help keep off diseases like the cold and flu.
Ingredients:
- 10- 12 fresh strawberries
- 2 glasses of milk
- 4 tea spoons sugar
Method:
Wash the strawberries,remove the stalks and chop it finely.
In a blender add all the above ingredients and blend till it until smooth and creamy.You can adjust the strawberries and sugar according to your taste.
Pour in a glasses and garnish with chopped strawberries.
Serve chilled.
